To help our users make the most of this valuable resource, we are visiting universities and institutes to provide hands-on training sessions.
Upcoming workshops for 2016 can be viewed here.
Workshops consist of a whole or part day of talks and practical exercises. During or following the session, there will be time to discuss the application to your own research, face-to-face with the developers of this database.
Workshops are aimed at wet-lab researchers with general knowledge of molecular biology and genomics. No previous experience of using WormBase is required. Attending a workshop is free of charge, however advance registration is essential. To register, please complete this short form.
If you would like to host a workshop at your university or research institute, please contact us. Courses are generally free of charge for academic institutions, however we may ask for travel, accommodation and subsistence costs of the instructor(s) to be reimbursed by the hosts.
We look forward to meeting as many of our users as possible during our roadshows.
